Jeffrey Morgan
As an artist, illustrator and muralist, Jeffrey K. Morgan works in acrylic, oil and watercolor paints to create compelling landscapes, street scenes and portraits. Jeffrey’s pictures range from highly detailed and realistic, to impressionistic, folksy, or whimsical, depending on subject matter and the nature of his assignment. His illustrations for Free People Publishing’s Under and Over the Snow are original watercolors.
Jeffrey also is a private and group art instructor, providing lessons to adults and children for more than 25 years.
Jeffrey’s murals adorn both interior and exterior walls of homes, offices, commercial buildings and public facilities around the greater Boston area, and as far distant as Georgia in the southern United States and Missouri in the west. He operates from Haverhill, Massachusetts, north of Boston.
He began his career as an artist immediately after high school. He has pursued it continuously for more than three decades. Jeffrey earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, studying there from 1988 to 1992. Jeffrey furthered his art studies at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, from 1992 until 1994.
He describes his ongoing artistic journey by quoting Pablo Picasso: “It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.”
